We're dedicated to bringing you the best of Madagascar's tropical treasures - spices to light up your life, health and kitchen. We're a small operation with a vision to share our wonderful produce with the world and to train and to equip the next generation of young farmers. We're situated on 30 beautiful acres on Madagascar's Eastern coast in the Atsinanana region. Our beautiful bit of paradise was home to Madagascar's first chocolate factory and lots of sugar plantations. Now, our home is one of Madagascar's agricultural centers and our vision is to bring life and hope to the many young people who live in our community - to recognize the treasures we have in Madagascar - not only preserving and cultivating our beautiful lands - but sharing our treasures of spices from our farm to your kitchen!

What's so special about Madagascar? As the 5th largest island in the world about the size of Texas, Madagascar's ecosystem "harbors lush rain forests, tropical dry forests, plateaus and deserts...with more than 3000 miles of coastline..." According to World Wildlife, approximately 89% of Madagascar's plant life and 92% of its mammals exist nowhere else on Earth." With all of Madagascar's beautiful tropical treasures, it also unfortunately ranks as one of the poorest nations on earth. The United Nations estimates that over 90% of Madagascar's population lives on less than US$3.10 a day. Our vision is to bring hope by growing our beautiful spices and everything else on the farm! We are striving to feed our region, especially the school children and to become an agricultural training center for our youth! To learn more about our vision - Click here!

The Spices
MADE WITH LOVE
How do we farm? Although we don't have an official certificate that says organic yet! - we follow ancient traditional methods of farming where we don't use artificial fertilizers and pesticides. We're naturally organic. As Madagascar produces 80% of the world's vanilla beans and our vanilla is considered the gold standard, the Madagascar agriculture department requires stringent quality for any agricultural products that are exported out of the country. Our shipments come with a certificat phytosanitaire. You'll see the results of our farming practices in the quality and flavors of our spices. Order our spices, let us know what you think.
